Iraq and Japan discuss the strategic Road Development project and its importance for the countries of the region and the world

Baghdad The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al -Saadawi, received, today, Thursday, the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Photoshocy Matsumoto, at the building of the Ministry of Transport in Baghdad.

The Media office of the Ministry said in a statement: The meeting included several topics, most notably, to emphasize the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the field of transportation, and the conversation was also discussed on the project of strategic development and its importance for the countries of the region and the world.

The statement added: The Minister of Transport called on the Japanese Ambassador, that the State of Japan be part of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport projects, the most important of which is the Grand Port and the Road of Development.

For his part, the Japanese Ambassador affirmed his country's readiness to provide support and exchange of experiences of the close and rooted historical and rooted relations of the two countries and peoples.
