Doha: The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it has transferred the bodies of four prisoners to the Israeli occupation authorities after receiving them from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a press statement, the ICRC called for the continued implementation of the prisoner exchange agreement to enable more families to receive the bodies of their loved ones, stressing its readiness to provide further support for the transfer of the remains, in accordance with the concluded agreement.
The Israeli army confirmed that it had received the bodies of four Israeli prisoners Monday evening.
