Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Friday will be hot to very hot during the daytime with slight dust at times, the Department of Meteorology stated in its daily weather report. Offshore conditions are expected to be fine, with warnings issued for strong winds and high seas.
According to Qatar News Agency, inshore winds will predominantly be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 08 to 18 knots, with gusts reaching up to 28 knots during the day. Offshore, winds are expected to be northwesterly at speeds of 6 to 16 knots, gusting up to 26 knots. The sea state inshore will range from 1 to 3 feet, rising to 5 feet, while offshore conditions will see the sea height ranging from 2 to 4 feet, increasing to 8 feet.
Visibility inshore is expected to range from 4 to 9 kilometers, while offshore visibility will be between 5 and 9 kilometers. Residents and visitors are advised to stay informed on weather conditions and exercise caution, especially during peak wind gusts and low visibility periods.
