Doha: The Department of Meteorology has forecast hot to very hot conditions during the day inshore with slight dust at places at times on Thursday, in addition to slight dust at times offshore.
According to Qatar News Agency, inshore winds will be southwesterly at first, becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at 6-16 KT, gusting to 26 KT at places during the daytime. Offshore winds will initially be mainly southwesterly, then shift to northwesterly to northeasterly at 4-14 KT, with gusts reaching 18 KT at northern locations at times.
The sea state inshore is expected to range from 1-3 FT, while offshore seas will range from 2-4 FT. Visibility inshore is predicted to be between 4-9 KM, while offshore visibility will range from 5-10 KM.
