Hot, Hazy Weather Prevails Across the Region

Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hazy at first, and hot to very hot daytime, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be hazy at times, the report added.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable at first, becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 5 – 15 KT, gusting to 20 KT during the daytime. Offshore, winds will be variable southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed of 2 – 12 KT.

Sea conditions are expected to be calm, with inshore sea state ranging from 1 to 2 feet and offshore from 1 to 3 feet. Visibility inshore will be between 5 to 9 km, while offshore it will range from 4 to 9 km.

Tide timings and temperature forecasts for various areas have been detailed, with Doha experiencing high tides at 10:03 and 20:33, and low tides at 04:15 and 15:31. The temperature in Doha is expected to range between 33°C to 44°C. Mesaieed and Dukhan are anticipated to have minimum temperatures of 30°C and maximum temperatures of 42°C and 44°C, respectively.

Other areas such as Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, and Abu Samra are also expected to experience similar weather conditions, with temperature highs reaching up to 47°C in Abu Samra. Sunrise is expected at 04:54 LT, with sunset at 18:25 LT.
