Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit on Monday at the Sheraton Doha Hotel. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways to further develop them, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest, and several topics on the summit’s agenda.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions aimed at enhancing the partnership between Qatar and Turkmenistan by exploring new avenues of collaboration. The meeting also provided an opportunity to address pressing regional and international concerns that are of mutual interest to both nations, with a focus on promoting stability and cooperation in the region. Additionally, the leaders discussed several key topics that were on the summit’s agenda, aiming to strengthen collective efforts in addressing challenges facing the Arab-Islamic world.
