Cairo: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in a meeting with HE Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, on Tuesday. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Arab Summit held in Cairo, Egypt, where they focused on strengthening bilateral ties.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing the fraternal relations between Qatar and Sudan. Both leaders deliberated on the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest. Their discussions included exchanging views on various topics listed on the summit’s agenda, with an emphasis on promoting joint Arab action.
The session was attended by several dignitaries from both sides. Representing Qatar were HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, and other members of the official delegation. The Sudanese delegation included HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Yousuf Al Sharif, along with members accompanying HE the Chairman.
