Al Rayyan: Al Rayyan advanced to the final of the 53rd edition of HH the Amir Cup after defeating Al Ahli 3-0 on Sunday in the semifinal match at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
According to Qatar News Agency, the goals for Al Rayyan came from Paraguayan striker Adam Bareiro, who scored twice in the 30th and 37th minutes, and Brazilian Roger Guedes, who netted a penalty in the 89th minute.
Al Rayyan will face the winner of the other semifinal match between Al Gharafa and Umm Salal.
The final will take place at Khalifa International Stadium on May 24.
Al Rayyan strengthens its hopes of securing a record seventh HH the Amir Cup title, having previously won the prestigious trophy in 1999, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2011, and 2013.
