HH the Amir Appoints New Ambassadors to Eight Nations

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has issued a series of Amiri Decisions appointing new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors to eight countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, Amiri Decision No. 44 of 2025 appoints Khalifa Abdullah Saad Al Mahmoud Al Sharif as the ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic.

The subsequent decisions detail the appointments of Nasser Ahmed Mohammed Al Tahir to Turkmenistan, Abdullah Hamad Ali Al Adham Al Marri to Brunei Darussalam, and Salman Nabit Mubarak Abdullah Al Khulaifi to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In addition, Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Abdulrahman Al-Thani has been appointed to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mirdif Ali Mirdif Al Qashouti to Afghanistan, Talal bin Almas bin Saeed Al Saleh Al Sulaiti to the Kingdom of Belgium, and Radi Sowayed bin Sowayed Al Ajami to Hungary.

These decisions are effective immediately from their date of issue and will be published in the official gazette.
