Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit at the Sheraton Hotel in Doha on Monday. The meeting focused on discussing bilateral relations and exploring ways to strengthen and develop them amidst current global challenges.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also encompassed regional and international issues of common concern, particularly addressing the Israeli aggression, which has been a significant point of discussion among the leaders. The leaders also reviewed a number of topics on the summit’s agenda, reflecting their shared interest in addressing pressing issues affecting the region.
The meeting saw the attendance of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi. The President of Tajikistan was accompanied by his official delegation, underscoring the importance of the discussions between the two nations.
