Baghdad, The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, participated in the virtual meeting today, Thursday, with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council in the State of Qatar, sponsored by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, to celebrate the accession of Iraq as a training site.
A statement by the Judicial Media stated that, “The meeting was held on the occasion of celebrating the accession of Iraq as the sixtieth training site to implement the tools of judicial ethics training for the Global Judicial Integrity Network and to enhance discussion and cooperation on topics including training on judicial ethics and global and regional priorities in the field of judicial integrity and participation in the activities of the Globalism Judicial Integrity Network. ”
The statement added that “the meeting was attended by the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, who delivered a speech on the occasion, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council in the State of Qatar, Hassan bin Lahdan Al-Hassan Al-Mohannadi, and the first judges of the investigation courts specialized in issues of integrity in Rusafa and Al-Karkh, Judge Dia Jaafar and Judge Iyad Mohsen Damad and a number of Specialists in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and representatives of the two countries in Vienna .
