Hamdan’s statements came a day after the Palestinian Fatah movement announced its rejection of any political or administrative arrangements regarding the Gaza Strip outside the framework of Palestinian legitimacy, rejecting any interference in Palestinian affairs.
It said in a statement: “Prevent any interference in Palestinian national affairs, and the movement rejects any political or administrative arrangements for the Gaza Strip outside the framework of Palestinian legitimacy.”
In addition, last Saturday, the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed revealed his country’s position on “day-after support” after the war in the Gaza Strip, and set the conditions for this support.
He wrote on his account on the “X” platform: “The Emirates is not prepared to support the next day of war in Gaza without the establishment of a Palestinian state.”
