Doha: Gold rose more than one percent Thursday, recovering from losses incurred in the previous session. Spot gold climbed 1.5% to $4,322.41 per ounce, after falling 1.7% in yesterday's session, while US gold futures for August delivery rose 0.9% to $4,343.10.
According to Qatar News Agency, among other precious metals, spot silver rose 2.2% to $69.51 per ounce, platinum climbed 1.8% to $1,767.53, and palladium gained 2% to $1,338.67.
