Gold Prices Rise Amid Global Trade Tensions

Doha: Gold prices rose Wednesday as safe-haven demand increased amid global trade tensions. Spot gold rose by 0.6% to 3,370.67 per ounce. US gold futures also climbed by 0.5% to 3,394.90.

According to Qatar News Agency, other precious metals also experienced increases. Spot silver rose by 0.3% to 34.59 per ounce, platinum increased by 0.5% to 1,079.62, while palladium remained steady at 1,009.94.
