HE Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA), Dr Issa bin Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi, stressed on Saturday that the State, under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, spares no effort to devote and promote all the rights of persons with disabilities, in line with the directives of His Highness and Qatar National Vision 2030.
On the occasion of the Professional Day for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities, al-Nuaimi said that upon the directives of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani, MADLSA worked on providing adequate training for persons with disabilities to enable them to work. It also worked on ensuring they undertake the work that suits them in order to take full advantage of their abilities and participate in the comprehensive renaissance of the State.
In light of the new procedures, 51 persons with disabilities were appointed in areas close to their residence, distributed among the ministries as follows: (40) Ministry of Education and Higher Education, (3) in MADLSA, (4) in MOTC and (4) in the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
