Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday that 107 Palestinians were martyred and 247 others injured in the past 24 hours due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that Israeli occupation forces continued to target various areas across the Strip through drone strikes, artillery shelling, and air raids, causing dozens of casualties – particularly in Al-Mawasi area and Gaza City. Hospitals received 107 martyrs, including three whose bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed homes, as well as 247 wounded.
The Ministry added that since the resumption of the war on March 18, the death toll has risen to 3,613 martyrs, with 10,156 people injured.
It also noted a heartbreaking statistic: 343 infants have been born during the war, but many died moments after birth due to electricity outages, a lack of incubators, or delays in receiving critical medical care.
Israeli occupation resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, following a two-month ceasefire that had come into effect on January 19, resulting in an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the occupied Palestinian territories.
