Gaza: The death toll from the unabating Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 64,522 martyrs and 163,096 reported wounded. Hospitals in the enclave received 67 bodies, including civilians, and 320 wounded during the latest 24-hour reporting period, bringing the toll since the Israeli occupation breached the ceasefire agreement on March 18 to 11,976 fatalities and 51,055 wounded, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Monday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry further stated that casualties among aid recipients in the past 24 hours numbered 14 deaths and 85 wounded, raising the overall toll among those who died while trying to make a living and were treated in hospitals to 2,430 deaths and 17,794 wounded. Meanwhile, hospitals recorded six additional deaths in the past 24 hours, including two children, due to starvation and malnutrition, bringing the cumulative toll of hunger-related victims to 393, of whom 140 are children.
The figures for the all-out Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip remain preliminary, as thousands of other victims remain trapped under the rubble, beyond the reach of medics and civil defense teams, due to a shortage of equipment and deliberate targeting by occupation forces, amid a humanitarian crisis that has reached the level of famine.
