Doha: The final Communique of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar was issued. The summit was held in Doha on Monday with the participation of Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses, heads of delegations participating in the summit.
According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders of States and Governments of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation gathered in Doha at the invitation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to discuss the Israeli aggression against Qatar. The summit aimed to express a unified stance in condemning the attack and show full solidarity with Qatar. Gratitude was expressed towards HH the Amir and Qatar for hosting the summit.
Guided by the Charters of the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the United Nations, the statement recalled principles prohibiting the use of force against any State. It reaffirmed the commitment to the sovereignty, independence, and security of all Member States, condemning any aggression targeting them. The leaders noted the UN Security Council’s emergency meeting on Sep. 11, 2025, which condemned the Israeli attack and supported Qatar’s mediation efforts.
The statement criticized the lack of international accountability for Israeli violations, which emboldens further aggressions. It declared absolute support for Qatar, condemning the attack as a violation of sovereignty and a threat to peace and security. The statement condemned the Israeli attack on Sep. 9, 2025, on a residential neighborhood in Doha, leading to casualties and injuries among civilians.
The communique outlined several decisions, including reaffirming solidarity with Qatar, condemning Israeli threats, and calling for international accountability. It urged the international community to halt Israeli aggressions and support mediation efforts. The statement praised Qatar’s role in mediating peace efforts and called for urgent international action against the humanitarian crisis caused by Israeli policies.
Additionally, the leaders reaffirmed the importance of achieving peace in the Middle East through adherence to international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. They expressed appreciation for Qatar’s efforts in hosting the summit and its role in fostering unity among Member States.
