Federal Integrity Commission: Audio clips attributed to Judge Haider Hanoun are fabricated

The Federal Integrity Commission denied the authenticity of the audio recordings attributed to its head, Judge Haider Hanoun, stressing: “They are fabricated recordings.”

The Commission said in a statement: “After pursuing and besieging the corrupt in order to bring them to justice and punish them, regardless of who is behind them, their electronic armies emerged from their holes to fabricate audio clips attributed to the head of the Commission, Judge (Haider Hanoun) and others aimed at influencing the work of the Commission, and trying to dissuade its head from continuing and carrying out their national mission.”

The statement added: “While the Commission refutes these slanders, lies and rumors, it warns at the same time that holding those slanderers accountable will be difficult if the sites that promoted them and those behind them are identified, and the scale of justice and the rule of law will be between us and them.”

The Commission indicated that a press conference will be held at its headquarters to
morrow, Thursday, at 3: pm, after the end of the activities of the Second Arab Forum for Promoting Transparency and Good Governance in order to clarify the facts and refute these slanders and rumors, and inform the public of the facts that are not hidden.”
