Gaza City: Four Palestinians were killed and others injured Monday evening as a result of Israeli shelling targeting the central Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that four citizens were killed and several others were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a house west of Deir al-Balah. Additionally, a citizen was killed in shelling south of Deir al-Balah. A woman was killed and another was injured due to a drone strike on the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sources added that the occupation forces are continuing their aerial and artillery bombardment of several areas in the Gaza Strip, focusing on the city of Rafah, the town of Abasan al-Kabira in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 50,752, with 115,475 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on October 7, 2023.
