Doha, - The Republic of Chad pavilion at the Expo Doha 2023 shed light on its unique historical and cultural heritage as one of the countries of Central Africa.
The Pavilion, situated at the Expo international zone in the Al Bidda Park, provides glimpses of the country's diversity because it has a unique environment that combines between the desert, mountains and the forests of the Savanna.
The Chad pavilion showcases diverse local products, most of them rely on skilled workforce of handicrafts such as leather products, shoes, jackets, stationery, household tools and decorative items. It also presents different herbal beverages as well as medicinal herbs extracted from local plants .These are used as simple remedies for certain illnesses.
The items of clothing displayed reflect the identity of the Chad people through the exhibits and works of art that mirror the nature of life there. The pavilion highlights the flourishing tourism sector in the country, which has various tourist destinations.
It has also featured glimpses of the Chad monuments, museums, wildlife, forests and the attractive scenery ideal for safari lovers.
