European stock markets opened mixed on monday: The pan-European STOXX 600 index opened 0.05 percent higher at 635.92 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, technology stocks led the sector gains, rising 1.2 percent. The UK's FTSE 100 index saw a rise of 0.07 percent, while France's CAC 40 index climbed by 0.08 percent. Germany's DAX index recorded a modest gain of 0.16 percent. Meanwhile, Italy's FTSE MIB index experienced a slight decline, slipping 0.03 percent in early trading.
