Doha: European stocks opened higher on Monday, balancing concerns over elevated valuations in the technology sector against easing geopolitical risks and expectations that the US Federal Reserve may raise interest rates later this year. Among the major markets, France's CAC 40 rose 0.23%, while Germany's DAX climbed 0.05%.
According to Qatar News Agency, the UK's FTSE 100 gained 0.14%, and Italy's FTSE MIB advanced 0.45%. These gains reflect investor optimism and a cautious approach to market dynamics, with geopolitical tensions showing signs of reduction and economic policies in the US influencing market expectations.
