Doha: European stock indices experienced a decline as trading closed on Thursday, marking a day of market volatility.
According to Qatar News Agency, the pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell by 2.42 points, representing a 0.44 percent decrease, and ended the day at 546.31 points. In Germany, the DAX index saw a more significant drop of 160.29 points, or 0.70 percent, concluding at 22,678.74.
Meanwhile, the British FTSE 100 index recorded a decline of 23.47 points, or 0.27 percent, closing at 8,666.12. Similarly, the French CAC 40 index decreased by 40.57 points, or 0.51 percent, to finish at 7,990.11.
