Doha: European stock indices closed mixed Thursday amid negative sentiment regarding tariffs. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 1.72 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 549.92.
According to Qatar News Agency, the German DAX index experienced a decline of 169.83 points, or 0.71 percent, closing at 23,779.07. Meanwhile, the French CAC 40 index saw a slight drop of 10.79 points, or 0.14 percent, finishing at 7,765.11. In contrast, the British FTSE 100 index rose by 20.57 points, or 0.23 percent, to close at 8,884.92.
