Doha: Estithmar Holding and Al Bidda Industries and Services have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Siemens to develop smart and sustainable solutions across key sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the MoU aims to foster innovation and bolster public-private partnership projects, aligning with Qatar’s vision for sustainable development and economic diversification. The key sectors identified in the MoU include healthcare, energy, services, hospitality, and contracting, as part of a strategy to support international expansion.
The MoU was signed by the CEO of Estithmar Holding, Juan Leon, who represented both Estithmar Holding and Al Bidda Industries and Services Company, along with the CEO of Siemens in Qatar and CEO of Smart Infrastructure for the Middle East, Hakan Ozdemir. Leon emphasized the significance of this MoU in advancing Estithmar Holding’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Leon expressed that through their collaboration with Siemens, Estithmar Holding aims to create transformative opportunities that enhance the economic ecosystem and support the long-term vision for international expansion. Meanwhile, Ozdemir highlighted that meaningful progress is achieved through collaboration, shared ambition, and the power of partnership.
Ozdemir further noted that the partnership with Al Bidda Group and Estithmar serves as a platform to extend Siemens Qatar’s success stories to the region and beyond.
