Jerusalem: Dozens of settlers stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque courtyards on Sunday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
According to Qatar News Agency, sources from Jerusalem reported that 148 settlers stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque courtyards during the daily raids. The sources indicated that groups of settlers entered the mosque under the protection of occupation forces and performed Talmudic rituals.
The sources further noted that the occupation forces tightened their military measures around Al Aqsa Mosque and the Old City, obstructing the movement of citizens and worshippers heading to the mosque to pray. Several individuals were stopped, and their IDs were checked by the occupation forces.
