Dozens of Martyrs, Wounded in Barrage of Israeli Airstrikes on Nusseirat Camp and Neighborhoods in Gaza

Gaza, Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured in violent Israeli airstrikes on Saturday evening, targeting citizens’ homes in the Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

At least 13 innocent civilians, including children and women, were brutally massacred and many others were injured in a barrage of Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple homes in Nusseirat refugee camp, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).

In addition to the assault on the Nusseirat refugee camp, Israeli fighter jets targeted a residential building in the Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City. The strike resulted in further casualties, local sources mentioned, with both fatalities and injuries reported, WAFA reported, adding that the wounded were promptly transported to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.

The occupation forces also launched a series of raids on the neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah, Al-Daraj, and Al-Shuja’iya, as well as Al-Sabra in the city of Gaza. Meanwhile, the occupation artillery fired dozens of shells on east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Since the end of the temporary pause on Friday, the occupation forces continued to launch dozens of airstrikes and destroy homes with their residents inside in various parts of the Gaza Strip. This has resulted in hundreds of martyrs and injuries, with dozens more trapped under the rubble of the destroyed homes.

This is not the first massacre committed by the occupation forces against civilians in their homes and displaced persons in hospitals and shelter schools in Jabalia and other areas and cities in the Gaza Strip.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, more than 15,000 citizens have been killed, including 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, in addition to more than 37,000 injured.

Thousands of citizens are still missing, and it is likely that the majority of them under the rubble of their homes. The rescue and ambulance teams have been unable to recover them until now.
