Doha: HE Director of the Government Communications Office (GCO) Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani met with a delegation from iHeartMedia, the world’s largest podcast publisher. The delegation included Executive Vice President for Global Brand Partnerships Andy Kelly and Program Director Dina Al Hajjar.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the two sides discussed recent developments in their partnership, reviewed progress in ongoing collaborations, and explored ways to further enhance cooperation to broaden the impact of joint initiatives and promote high-quality media partnerships in Qatar.
The meeting comes as part of the partnership agreement signed between the GCO and iHeartMedia during Web Summit Qatar 2025. The agreement aims to establish a regional podcast production hub for the Middle East and North Africa. This initiative seeks to provide world-class podcast infrastructure in Qatar, support the growth of audio content across the region, and strengthen Qatar’s position as a global hub for podcast production.
