Doha: The Meteorology Department warned in its daily weather report of thundery rain offshore at first, strong wind at places and high sea. It also reported partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain at first, maybe thundery, until 6:00 p.m.
According to Qatar News Agency, inshore weather will be moderate daytime temperature with scattered clouds at times, relatively cold at night. Wind inshore will be northwesterly at 05-15 KT, gusting to 22 KT at places during the daytime. Offshore, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at 10-18 KT, reaching 25 KT at places.
The sea state inshore will be 1-3 FT, while offshore it will be 3-5, rising to 8 FT at places. Visibility inshore will be 05-09 km, while offshore visibility will range from 4-9 km.
