Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hazy to misty at first, becoming moderate in temperature during the daytime, partly cloudy with a chance of light scattered rain and slight dust, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected strong wind at places during the daytime.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will feature scattered clouds, becoming partly cloudy at times with a chance of scattered rain. The report also warns of expected strong wind and high sea later in the day.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly at speeds of 10 - 20 KT, gusting to 28 KT at places at times. Offshore winds will be northwesterly at speeds of 12 - 22 KT, gusting to 32 KT at times.
The sea state inshore will be 3 - 5 feet, while offshore conditions will be 4 - 7 feet, rising to 10 feet at times. Visibility inshore will range from 4 - 9 km, dropping to 3 km or less at places at times, while offshore visibility will remain between 4 - 9 km.
