Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Friday will be mild by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be fine, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 03 to 13 knots, gusting to 24 knots at certain places initially. Offshore, the wind is expected to be northwesterly, reaching speeds of 18 to 28 knots.
The sea state inshore is predicted to be between 2 to 4 feet, while offshore conditions will see waves reaching heights of 5 to 9 feet. High and low tide times vary across different areas, with Doha experiencing high tide at 04:17 and low tide at 09:48 and 22:40.
In Messaid, high tides are expected at 05:57 and 16:28, while Wakrah will see high tides at 05:33 and 15:11. Other areas, including Al Khor, Ruwais, and Dukhan, have similar tidal patterns, with specific times noted in the report. The forecast also mentions sunrise at 05:51 LT and sunset at 16:45 LT.
