Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for tonight, indicating that weather inshore will be slightly dusty at certain locations and times. The department highlighted the potential for strong winds in some areas in its daily weather report.
According to Qatar News Agency, the offshore conditions are expected to be similarly slightly dusty with warnings of strong wind and high sea conditions. Inshore winds will be coming from the northwesterly to northerly direction at speeds ranging from 10 to 18 knots, potentially reaching up to 25 knots in certain areas.
Offshore, the winds are predicted to be northwesterly, blowing at speeds of 18 to 25 knots, with gusts reaching up to 30 knots at times. Visibility is anticipated to range from 5 to 9 kilometers.
The sea state inshore is expected to be between 3 to 5 feet, while offshore conditions could range from 5 to 8 feet, with surges reaching up to 10 feet in some areas.
