Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about poor horizontal visibility expected at certain locations inshore until 6:00 pm on Monday. The weather will be misty to foggy in places initially, with moderate temperatures during the daytime accompanied by scattered clouds at times, and relatively cold conditions.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore weather conditions are predicted to be hazy with scattered clouds. Winds inshore will initially be variable before settling into a southeasterly-northeasterly direction at speeds of 5-15 KT, while offshore winds are expected to be from the southeasterly-northeasterly direction at 5-15 KT as well.
The sea state is anticipated to range from 1 to 3 feet inshore and from 2 to 4 feet offshore. In terms of visibility, inshore levels are expected to be between 4-9/2 km, while offshore visibility will range between 4-9 km.
