Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 62,895 martyrs, in addition to 158,927 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 76 bodies, including one recovered from under rubble, and 298 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours. Since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, there have been 11,050 martyrs and 46,886 injured.
The ministry noted that in the past 24 hours, 18 aid victims arrived at hospitals, with 106 injured, bringing the total number of aid victims to 2,158 and the number of injured to 15,843.
Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 10 new deaths, including two children, due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of deaths from such causes to 313, including 119 children.
Despite international condemnation and repeated warnings from UN agencies about the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip, Israel has continued its comprehensive bombardment since Oct. 7, 2023, worsening the suffering of the population and deepening the humanitarian crisis to dangerous levels.
