Death sentence for the killer of the Director of Intelligence in Nasiriyah

Al-Karkh Criminal Court issued a death sentence against the killer of the Director of Nasiriyah Intelligence. The Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated in a statement: "The convict shot the victim in Dhi Qar Governorate / Islah District/, while performing his work as an officer in the Ministry of Interior, which led to his death." It added: "The ruling was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 406/1/H of the Penal Code No. 111 of 1969, as amended, in light of Articles 47, 48 and 49 of the participation thereof.
