The Ministry of Communications approved today, Monday, a project to automate the Ministry and its formations.
The Ministry said in a statement that, as part of the Minister of Communications Hayam Al-Yasiri’s continuous efforts to move towards digital transformation projects, the opinion committee in the Ministry approved the project (automating the Ministry and its formations), and moving forward by starting the implementation steps of the project.
Al-Yasiri directed, according to the statement, to contract with discreet specialized companies in this field to achieve the goals of the government program in simplifying procedures, reducing corruption and improving services provided to citizens through digital transformation and automation in state institutions and reducing routine and paper transactions.
The Minister indicated the importance of completing digital transformation and automation projects and giving them priority in the interests and work of the Ministry to implement them as quickly as possible, because of their important results that contribute to the development of the communications and information technology sector.
