Jerusalem: Dozens of colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem Monday, under heavy guard from Israeli occupation forces.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said that colonists carried out provocative tours in the mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals, amid a heavy presence of Israeli police.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem reported that colonists carried out more than 25 raids during June, following escalating calls from extremist Temple Mount groups, which periodically urge them to storm the mosque and perform Talmudic rituals within its courtyards.
