Bogota, Santiago, Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced Wednesday morning the recall of his country's ambassador to the Israeli entity, in protest against the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip.
"If Israel does not stop the massacre of the Palestinian people, we cannot be there," Petro said.
Chiles President Gabriel Boric also announced he had recalled his country's ambassador to Israel due to Israel's violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza.
Boric wrote in a post on X that his country strongly condemns the occupation's military operations in the Gaza Strip, which at this point in their development entail collective punishment of the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza, do not respect fundamental norms of International Law, as demonstrated by the more than eight thousand civilian victims, mostly women and children.
Last night, the Bolivia Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the government in Bolivia decided to sever its diplomatic relations with Israel, because it committed crimes against humanity in its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Bolivia previously severed diplomatic relations with Israel in 2009 in protest against its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
