China Launches New Communication Technology Test Satellite

China: China on Thursday sent a new communication technology test satellite into space from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province, according to Chinese Xinhua news agency.

According to Qatar News Agency, the satellite was launched aboard a Long March-5 rocket and has successfully entered its preset orbit. This marks another step forward in China's efforts to advance its capabilities in space communication technology.

The satellite is primarily intended for multi-band and high-speed communication technology validation tests. This mission is expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of China's communication infrastructure through advanced satellite technology.
