Gaza: The casualty toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, reached 53,655 martyrs and 121,950 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, the health authorities in Gaza stated in a press release Wednesday that hospitals in the Strip received 82 martyrs and 262 wounded over the past 24 hours. They added that since the Israeli occupation renewed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, the toll has reached 3,509 martyrs and 9,909 wounded.
The statement noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them. The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, after a two-month pause following a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19.
The occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout the two months and continued bombing various areas of the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
