New york: Hunger is being wielded as a weapon of war in Gaza, with the Palestinian people subjected to systematic disappearance, said Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, addressing the high-level General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, currently convened in New York.
According to Qatar News Agency, da Silva further underscored that tens of thousands of children and women have been buried in Gaza, lamenting that international law and the myth of Western morality have been buried there as well.
In addition, da Silva emphasized that nothing could justify the ongoing extermination in Gaza, while simultaneously condemning the fact that a single veto halts United Nations resolutions regarding the territory.
