Gaza city: Rescue teams recovered on Tuesday the bodies of 30 martyrs from under the rubble of a Palestinian family's home in the Al Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Civil Defense Authority in the Gaza Strip stated in a press release that its teams managed to recover the bodies of 30 martyrs from the debris.
The statement from the Civil Defense Authority further added that efforts are ongoing to recover the bodies of another 30 martyrs who remain trapped under the same rubble, with rescue operations being conducted under extremely challenging field conditions.
These recovery operations are being conducted in collaboration with several organizations, including the Arab Authority for the Reconstruction of Gaza, the Emergency Committee, and the Rapid Response Department. The involvement of forensic and medical examiners in Gaza Governorate, along with the Ministries of Health and Religious Endowments, is also crucial. Additionally, the families of the missing martyrs, along with tribal and clan representatives, are actively participating in these efforts.
Since October 7, 2023, the situation in the Gaza Strip has been dire, as Israeli occupation forces continue their aggressive actions. These include acts of killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and arrest, all in blatant disregard for international appeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to halt such aggression.
