Gaza city: At least ten Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured Sunday evening in Israeli airstrikes on various areas in Gaza City and Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, reported that five citizens were killed and 20 others were injured as a result of an Israeli drone attack on a group of citizens in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed the arrival of three martyrs and a number of injured people after Israeli airstrikes targeted tents of displaced people in Al-Fayrouz area, northwest of Gaza City.
Near the Al-Sanafour intersection in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, two Palestinians were killed after Israeli aircraft targeted a group of citizens in the area.
Meanwhile, five Palestinians were also injured after Israeli tanks opened fire on them west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with heavy shelling, bullets, and helicopter fire.
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression against the Gaza Strip on March 18, following a two-month hiatus under a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on January 19. However, the occupation has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement, targeting various areas in the Strip, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
