Amir’s Speech Outlines Vision for Qatar’s Future and Development

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated the first regular session of the second legislative term of the Shura Council, delivering a comprehensive speech that set a roadmap for Qatar’s future, focusing on national and economic priorities and sustainable development.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Raya newspaper highlighted the speech as a historic moment that renewed feelings of patriotism, pride, and hope among Qataris. The speech emphasized the vision of wise leadership and Qatar’s commitment to just peace in the region. HH the Amir expressed confidence in the citizens, underscoring their central role in achieving a more prosperous and secure future. The address also warned against excessive consumption and urged gratitude and continual efforts to preserve and invest in societal blessings for future generations.

Al-Raya noted Qatar’s role as a mediator in regional conflicts and its support for the Palestinian cause, affirming its dedication to peace and development in Gaza. The paper concluded that under HH the Amir’s leadership, Qatar continues its comprehensive renaissance, adhering to values and national identity.
