Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has been actively involved in diplomatic engagements, expressing goodwill and solidarity with international leaders. On the occasion of Georgia's Independence Day, HH the Amir sent a congratulatory cable to HE President Mikheil Kavelashvili. Similarly, he extended congratulations to HE President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, marking their national day of independence.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir also expressed condolence to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, following the passing of HRH Prince Nawaf bin Naif bin Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In preparation for the upcoming Eid Al Adha, the Amiri Diwan announced that HH the Amir will perform the Eid prayer alongside citizens at the Lusail prayer ground on Wednesday morning. Additionally, he is scheduled to receive well-wishers at Lusail Palace on the first day of Eid.
In a show of unity with Arab and Islamic nations, HH the Amir exchanged congratulatory cables with leaders of sisterly countries. Furthermore, a phone conversation took place between HH the Amir and HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, highlighting ongoing diplomatic dialogues.
Meanwhile, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani mirrored these diplomatic gestures by sending congratulatory and condolence cables to leaders in Georgia, Guyana, and Saudi Arabia. He also exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings with crown princes and vice-presidents of Arab and Islamic countries.
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani also sent a congratulatory message to HE Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, further emphasizing Qatar's commitment to fostering strong international relations.
