Doha: AlRayan Bank announced the successful issuance of its debut 3-year Green Sukuk, raising QR 500 million at a profit rate of 4.25 percent per annum, marking a significant achievement for the financial institution.
According to Qatar News Agency, a statement by the bank, published on Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), indicated that the issuance is a key milestone for AlRayan Bank and a major moment in its Environmental, Social, and Governance communications journey. The Sukuk will be listed on the QSE in accordance with their processes and subject to all regulatory approvals.
