Algiers, Algeria strongly condemned the Israeli occupations bombing of the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, considering it a new violation and challenge to all provisions and norms of international law, and in conflict with the principles and values of humanity calling for the protection of civilians and not targeting buildings of a civilian and humanitarian nature.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria said, in a statement today that this attack on a humanitarian facility concerned with rebuilding what was destroyed by the hands of the brutal occupation is conclusive evidence of the intention of the occupation, which knows only the language of intransigence and destruction, to grave every possibility for peace or dialogue to end its series of attacks.
The statement expressed Algeria’s full solidarity with the State of Qatar and with the Palestinian brothers against this blatant aggression, stressing that the responsibility to stop the aggression and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people falls entirely on the Security Council, which cannot shirk it and the consequences of its inability to move to end this injustice, which cannot be justified in any way against the Palestinian people.
