Al-Mandalawi Affirms To The Board Of Trustees Of The MCC The Determination Of The Parliament To Approve Laws That Give Priority To The Work And Performance Of The Commission

Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, received in his office today, Wednesday, members of the Board of Trustees of the Media and Communications Commission, to discuss a number of issues and laws related to the work of the Board of Trustees and the Commission.

The meeting discussed, according to a statement by Al-Mandalawi's office, draft laws related to the work of the Council and the Media and Communications Commission, the most important of which is the legislation of the Media and Communications Commission Law, which greatly contributes to organizing its work, tasks and duties, and ending the intersections with ministries and relevant authorities, as well as the importance of amending the Communications and Informatics Law.

The First Deputy directed the parliamentary committees concerned with studying proposals and addressing problems related to the legislation of the Media and Communications Law, calling on the Board of Trustees to maintain coordination with the committees (Transport and Communication, Culture and Tourism, Antiquities and Information), in addition to completing the requirements related to improving work mechanisms and drawing up legislative and strategic policies, expressing determination o the legislative authority to pass laws that give priority to the work and performance of the authority.
