Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar affirmed that Ankara will not stop fighting terrorism until the last terrorist is neutralized.
In a speech he delivered today, Sunday, at the "Countering Terrorism and Syria Conference" in Istanbul, the Minister stressed that "combating terrorism is one of the biggest challenges facing Turkey, and that his country continues to combat terrorism with great firmness."
In this context, he indicated that the Turkish army will continue its operations against terrorists in northern Iraq and Syria and pursue terrorist remnants.
He added, "The fight against terrorism will not stop until the last terrorist is neutralized, and the Turkish army continues to bury terrorists in the holes and bunkers they dug.
He stated that the Turkish army continues to combat terrorism based on the principle of "our goal is terrorism wherever it is."
Akar stated that 37,860 terrorists have been neutralized since July 24, 2015, including 6 terrorists in the "Euphrates Shield" operation in northern Syria on Sunday./ End
